App Store is not working & I'm just getting the "Wheel of Death", this morning. Why? I've tried rebooting both my iPhone & iPad, but it doesn't help.

iPhone 5, iOS 6.0.2

If it's with both your devices, then most likely something else with your network....

Still not working for me, ipad nor iphone, wifi. Update badges show there are updates but the page loads blank. Rest of the internet is fine.

Same problem, same two devices.  The updates page is blank on both with icon showing multiple updates available.  I truely hate the Apple App Store Updates for both devices - it is always painfully slow in loading to show what I need to update. Here is a brilliant idea - why don't they add a selector for auto-updates with a time you agree to in the setup?  That way, updates just happen for those of us that don't like to be bothered by the constant eye sore number that shows how many updates you have available....

I love my Apply products, but some things are just irritating - e.g. newsstand as a permenant icon on the devices.  Now I am just ranting.

Apple - wake up and fix this now.

Or, more likely it is not 'his' network - but the Apple network.  Since this is not the first time this problem has occured for Apple (search App Store Not Working).  Since his internet still works on the device, he can still access the store itself (should he want to buy something - becuase God forbid that you not be able to buy something) but the updates page is non-functional.  tada.  If you have never had this exact problem before, why reply by immediately supposing that the original questioner is an idiot and can not do rudementary troubleshooting?

I have this too on iPad 3 and iPhone 5.  No network problems so looks like an App Store problem.

    ...idiot...

Ok Genius, you take over the thread now. I am bowing out and done with this.

Have to say, kojakstarr was not calling you an idiot, yet your response insinuates that he was.  He was suggesting that your diagnosis was jumping the gun and incorrect - and given that this appeared to be quite a widespread problem, reported on numerous forums over the Internet, it would appear it was an App Store problem.  Happy to say it seems resolved now.

It resolved itself auto-magically last night. Updates come through fine now.

I can only conclude it was some glitch on Apple's side as I didn't change anything.

seems like it is still happening... or at least to me.

I've rebooted both my ipad & my router. I have verified my internet connection is not the problem (I'm submitting this on my mac on the same router) because web pages refresh at normal speed. I've also checked out that Genius for App Store thing but that was either never turned on or was turned off a long time (months) ago.

It's been happening to me since I started trying to download apps around 5pm and now it's 8pm+.

It is Apple.  Seems to be some type of App store/Update page problem.  It does not effect all users at the same time, instead seems to be a rolling type "upgrade" maybe?  It would be nice if they would upgrade the update page to load faster... I mean the icon says there are so many updates - why can't the update page already so those ten, instead of loading for 30 seconds.  But back to the main problem, give it 8-16 hours and the problem goes away.  Turning on and off likely doesn't help, but doesn't hurt either.

It's still happening.  The App Store pages take forever to load.  Looks like Apple's servers are overloaded.
