Netflix not logging position / episodes viewed

Software 5.1 (iOS 6.0) and 5.1.1


Ever since the update to 5.1 Netflix generally doesn't log an episode as viewed if you compete it, so it doesn't move to next episode as it should.


You can confirm that 0 mins logged as viewed if you check your instant viewing history in account on the desktop website.


Netflix seem to confirm this bug after 3 separate lengthy online chats, yet it still isn't fixed and I think it's due to lack of complaints and this issue is annoying as you can loose which episode is next if you haven't watched something for a while.


I've tested and if you watch 10 mins of a show it logs and resumes from 10 minutes if you stop go back in.


Watch the whole show even using fast forward to credits and it logs 0 minutes viewed.


Watch 10 mins, resume then watch to end and it still resumes from 10 minutes.


Something is buggy with their code at the end of an episode so it doesn't log / update the viewing position.


Please complaint to Netflix if you can.
