I cannot finish an urgent letter in Pages because a "Text Box" keeps mangling the page

In your desperation you failed to actually describe how it is "mangling" the page.

However the Great Swami, by holding his screen to his forehead is able to transport himself through time and space...

Oooooooo... aaaaaaaaah... Looook oooover yoour shoulder. Do you see me? No?

Oh well. I could swear I could just see what it is you are looking at.

Just a guess, but do you have wrap set on the TextBox and is it pushing the text away?

Or have you copied something from the Internet and pasted it into your text complete with embedded objects?

I, too, accidentally clicked on the text-box button.  So there is the unwanted text-box.  The HELP page says nothing about how to DELETE a text-box.  (Or if so, I haven't found it.)

Have you tried clicking on it then hitting delete?

Try for the edge after clicking away in the margin, so you are not clicking inside the box.
