Jan 29, 2013 8:42 AM in response to b noirby cmrlhd,with apologies to playerpro, since I don't know his/her results. But I have had the 'same' experience of itunes no longer starting. no error message. Just double click; the blue circle; then nothing.
I, too, have uninstalled and reinstalled several times.
I've tried several 'fixes' that I found suggested in earlier posts.....but they were all a year old so I have no idea whether they would even be considered for current versions.
l am on a 64 bit pc running Windows 7, all up to date.
I, too, did the update to itunes 11.... :-(
Help would be appreciated.

I've start my computer in safe mode and Itunes start and a windows open explainig there is a conflict with audio device!!! I try to solve the conflict but when I restart in normal mode, Itunes doesn't start...
I have usb Bose companion 5 on this computer.
