Had the infiniti update installed 2 weeks ago.  Bluetooth calls worked fine.  Instaltted IOS update last night, bluetooth calling seems fine still.  Don't use streaming so can't comment but happy my calls are still answered.

2011 ex35. Never seem to have trouble with calls but can't download or sync phone book

And can't stream see play list song and everything else I had before

Can only steam all the music on the phone no options at all

    Apple die with Steve Jobs

They should never release 6.0 or higher is nothing but crap and Apple want to make it everyone else's problem

Just go buy a new car that should fix it

Just updated to IOS6.1 and my Nissan Maxima is not dropping incoming calls. Its about time - I was getting ready to switch to Blackberry 10.

    @dberenbaum:

Was your Maxima updated with firmware as well?

I'm wondering if the latest iOS 6.1 resolves the problem, without the car update (Infiniti here).

After installing iOS 6.1 on my iPhone 5, I successfully answered a call on my motorcycle through my Garmin Zumo 660 for the first time since switching from an iPhone, about five months ago.

I am glad that Apple finally did the right thing in fixing this problem.  This incident has still left me with a much lowered opinion of Apple.  There is no mention of the fix for this problem in the iOS 6.1 documentation, so they are still focused on denial and covering themselves legally, and treating their customers very poorly.

Looks like this thread is going to die a much-anticipiated and awaited death.

The problem that some claimed can't possibly be an Apple problem has been fixed by Apple with release 6.1 (at least in my two cases).

I can report that my hands free works both in my Nissan Titan and on my Garmin 665 motorcycle GPS/Hands-free phone for the first time since October.

I think that some here on the forum were able to get to high places within Apple and lodge complaints that got something done.  The wait could have been much longer.  Thanks to those that may or may not have made a difference.

Time now for me to unsuscribe.

I have been on this thread for more than a month and this is what solved the issue for me.

    I have a 2012 Infiniti G37x with Nav and I couldn't receive calls.

    I upgraded to iOS 6.1 and I changed Settings>General>Accessibility>Physical & Motor>Incoming Calls>Headset

I don't need BT audio because I plug my iPhone 5 into the iPod port in the car for charging and music.

I never got to update my car -- my dealer, Pepe Infiniti, supposedly the nation's largest Infiniti dealer, didn't have the update yet (hard to believe when others on the list had their cars updated by their dealers).

I see. I allways have Bluetooth hands free never stopped.

It the audio streaming and the phone book sync over br that had stop working.

I want it back the way it was. This is a downgrade

I have the lates upgrade from Infiniti  still

    Nothing.

Installed 6.1 last evening and seems to work for my 2012 Lexus is250.  Finally able to receive incoming calls so far.  Yea!  My fingers are crossed no more problems!

On my 2012 Maxima and updated iOS 6.1, I was able to receive a call at highway speed no problem today. I haven't yet had the Nissan update though. I just checked Bluetooth audio. I can switch between tracks in shuffle or sequential mode, but there's no option to see a list of albums, artists, etc. like with the iPod control. Was anyone expecting the Bluetooth audio to have all the options as the iPod?

I had the Infiniti dealer update, but it was not until the latest iOS update that my Bluetooth audio features worked completely and consistently.  When I switch to BT audio, I get a message on the head unit that my iPhone is the connected device, with all artist and album metadata displayed and full control functionality from the steering wheel controls.

So your saying that the play list was on the head unit and you could select different song from the head unit

Did you contacts auto download into the cars phone book ????

I too can confirm that 6.1 fixed all the problems with my 2012 Altima with Nav. Bluetooth streaming is now working again and of course answering calls is as well, all without the aid of any dealer firmware update.
