Can you try sending yourself an email?
Does it come through or does it produce an error?
Have you tried deleting and readding the account?
Can you access the account from another device?
Try the above and if those dont work let me know .

Setting up and troubleshooting Mail
Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

I can send an email to myself.
Have tried deleting account and then setting it up again.
I can access the account from another device.
The emails I am trying to send to are on my main pc - I have set up my apple ID using my main servers email account user name. Is it possible it's that? If so, How do I delete my apple ID and start a different one?
