How can I have a stronger Facetime session between my Macbook and an iPhone?
The calls seem to have a delay/latency. What would improve this?

Is 4g the fastest mode available?

Would using a cellular data plan work?

Would having my own personal hotspot device help?

Would Skype be a better choice? If so, why?

Thanks

Is 4g the fastest mode available?

For which device?  Phone or computer?

Would using a cellular data plan work?

The phone is already using that.

    Try it and find out.

Is 4G the fastest mode available to have a Facetime call between an iPhone and a Macbook?

Re: "the phone is already using that", I thought the iPhone can use either wi-fi, for FaceTime, or a Cellular data plan. Am I correct? Can Facetime work on a cellular data plan (ATT)?

Would having a personal hotspot device help improve the quality of a Facetime call from (or to) my Macbook, from an iPhone?

Has someone compared Facetime vs. Skype (between an iPhone and a Macbook, that would like to provide some insight/opinion?

why don't you do it yourself instead of asking the same thing again n again? The apps are free, do some experiments. is that too hard for you that everything has to be given by others?

I plan to do it myself, but I am interested in hearing what other people may have experienced, because I'm interested in learning more. And I may appear to be "asking again", but I was asked question, so I'm actually clarifying and replying to their questions. Here's another question: Why are you so grouchy?

because some people just don't want to learn anything and want everything handed out on a silver plate.

if you do all the tests yourself, you'll know what works best for you. what works/doesn't work for others may have little bearing on what does for you.

Because I like to hear about other people's experiences, doesn't put me in the "silver plate" league.

I intend to do it all, but can also learn time-saving tips, possibly, people can share opinions of things I'm unaware of, such as the possibility of something faster than 4G. Maybe a Facetime expert will chime in. I like learning, as well as, doing.

dude, then "do" first and coe and ask to learn later.

secondly, no-one's a "facetime" expert - last time i checked there was no such certification course. and as I said before, someone else's experience/quality is going to be different than yours ... so why dont you just do it.
