I recently discovered the feature of sharing folders in Iphoto with somebody else via shared photostream.

Overall it works great, but I have the 2 following questions:

1) Eventhough I can  import the pics into my library (this feature exists) it seems that the access to these imported pictures is not fully granted. I can not modify them or change name or whatever. Is that normal?

2) I have imported into my Iphoto Library some 2000 old familly pics, than I started to modify names/titles (for example instead of scann0001, I name it grandma 1967). This goes without problem, but when I share the folder of these family pics with my father, he still sees the old name (scann0001) whereas on my imac under photostream I also have the old name but in my library I see the new name.

Anyone has experience with that?

Thks in advance

1 - I'm not clear on your question - are you saying that you can not edit them after they are imported to iPhoto and you are accessing then in an event? What happens when you try

2 - you are not changing the name (or file name ) of the photo - you are changing the title of the photo - PhotoStream uss the file name

Suggest to Apple - iPhoto menu ==> provide iPhoto feedback
