Q: 3G Issue IOS 6.1 - Iphone 5

Me too since I updated to 6.1 can't get 3G in certain areas were as before I had now problem!

And everyone I know are also reporting this! Just won't pick up 3G like it would before the update.

Apple any help please

Same problem in Italy, it's impossible get 3g where this kind of connection is not at the maximum intensity, the phone remain in  EDGE connection...

This applies to the network that does not support LTE... apple must've missed this again...

Me too i can t active 3G with iPhone 5 iOS 6.1

I have the same Problem here in Austria. I also had to turn 3g off and on in order to get a 3g connection. Now with 6.1 it is impossible for me to get 3g. (note: my previous android phone never had this issue and also my girlfriends iphone 4 gets a proper connection with the same carrier...)

I had the same problem in Mexico, and I found a weird but effective way to solve the problem:

1. Go to Settings -> Carrier and disable the 'Automatic' feature. Then wait a few seconds and select your carrier.
2. Enable the "Airplane Mode"
3. Disable the "Airplane Mode"
4. Restart your phone

And done, now my 3G works just fine.

just a temporary solution

Don't know, cause I've restarted my phone more than 8 times just to check if the 3G still works, and it does. Sure, Apple would eventually fix it completly so you can use the 'Automatic' carrier feature, but for now, it works just fine with that solution.

I got the same the problem here in Brazil. Since I updated to iOS 6.1 I can't get 3G ANYWHERE. It just won't connect no matter what I do! Help please I need fast data on my phone not EDGE!
