I accidentally lost most of my contacts when I tried to sync contacts on iphone 4 and outlook. I ended up with only the contacts from outlook. I have not backed up for months. I know terrible to not do that. My question is: Can I retrieve the contacts that I had on my iphone 4 from the SIM card??

    iPhones have never stored contact information or any other information to SIMcards.

    @durango.

    I looked at all your posts, you have previously had a problem to sync contacts. Usually that points to sync conflict. You really needed to figure out that before making any changes (back up first- i know too late). Sounds like you finally got sync back. There is a slim hope, if your previous problem was created by syncing your phone instead of outlook to windows contacts. If that is the case go to Google and search "location of windows contacts on windows 7/vista/xp" what ever your version is. Drill down to that folder and see if you r lucky.
