Okay when i send an calender event ( invite to a contact) from my mac, or icloud.com it uses the name on my apple id ( which it is suppose to do) When i send from my iphone or ipad it uses my sons name...... I have looked thru his ipod and my iphone and ipad..... and i cant see why it would be doing this..... I am pulling my hair out trying to figure this out. I am wondering if this is an icloud issue, because when i turn off my claendars on my phone and pad, and then turn them back on, they send correctly at first, only later to convert back to the wrong name. My son does not have calenders turned on his ipod at all.......

Spent hours, and I mean hours with apple. Fix the problem. They had me create new calendar under a test apple id, and then delete my calendars...... then keep the new calendars on my phone, are sign back in using my old id..... whola.... fixed.
Monday night, my sons ipod was showing no memory..... It should have had plenty of space. Me being the smart apple user I am (so I thought) I pluged it into my mac, and rest it to factory settings, and updated it to 6.1 using itunes...... because it was corrupted, I set it up as a "new device".
I also updated my phone an ipad to ios 6.1 via OTA.
Tuesday night, sent hubby and invite and poof.... my sons name is back as the creator/invitee.....
I. WANT. TO. CRY!!!!

I FOUND A SOULTION!!!!!
Its very simple too. Create a new apple id. Use that one for icloud on the other devices..... Still use the orginal id for itunes and app store.......
You can create an new apple id for each device!!!!
