Tried launching iMovie (7.1.4) and got an error that my graphics card (ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT) is incompatible with quartz extreme.  This after installing mountain lion (ML).  Weird, iMovie launched once before after installing ML, but now it won't.  Is ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT compatible with quartz extreme?  Is there a way to enable/disable quartz extreme?  Thanks

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2), 2008 imac A1224

Usually restarting your Mac should clear this up.

If that doesnot work, try going to System Preferences/Displays.

Change Display to Scaled and pick a different resolution. Then change it back to your preferred resolution. See if that helps.

I haven't seen this problem in several years and never with ML, so I am guessing based on what worked for iMovie 08 several years ago.
