well I had an issue with my exchange email not pushing mail using os 6. I had to open the account for it to come through. just did the upgrade to 6.1 hoping there was a fix for that issue and now my gmail account won't push mail. I now need to open each account to receive incoming mail. Are you serious! This should be a basic fix. Email with cell phones is a basic feature nowadays. The worse part is, no one has an answer or wants to help. Everybody passes the problem onto someone else. FRUSTRATING! when you pay this kind of money for a cell phone and monthly service. HELP!

Gmail won't push - the workaround is to set it up as an exchange account.

Try that and let me know if it works.

Go into your notifications and turn it on - if you have more than 1 acct each can be controlled separately.

    That isn't new to 6.1.

You can set up more than 1 exchange acct now - not sure why you haven't/won't try to set up gmail that way.
