Logic onlyes "Sees" andy device (MIDI or Audio) if the system "sees" it. So the first step is to veryfy if OSX recognizes your Device. You check that in the "Audio MIDI Setup" utility (AMS) found in the Applications/Utilities folder
Now you have to sceanrios:
You can see the device in AMS.
That would point to Logic and you can to the troubleshooting there (starting with the Environmen).
You cannot see the device in AMS
That points to a system issue and has nothing to do with Logic yet. Check connections (cable) and drivers.
In your case I would take a guess that the old Mac had the drivers installed but not the new one. Maybe you have a newer OSX system on your new machine that requires a new driver for your device.
