Connection timeout at home/work, but connected perfectly at Apple Store

I'm having an incredibly frustrating issue with my Black Macbook (Late 2006, 2 GHz, 2 GB RAM)

I updated to Snow Leopard (10.6.8) from Leopard months ago, and ever since I've been unable to connect to a network.

Each time I attempt to connect whether I'm at home, work, school, or another person's house I always receive a connection timeout

Prior to the upgrade, the wifi worked perfectly on the Macbook.

I went into the Apple store today with my computer completely wiped. They reinstalled their version of snow leopard on the computer

and right after it connected to the Apple store's wifi without any dropped connection. I had used it for about 40 minutes consistently.

Upon arriving at my house, I tried to connected to the Wifi where I once again received a conncetion timeout.

Again at work I tried the same and receieved a connection timeout. The only difference is that my home and work are protected networks and

the Apple Store's network was not.

 

I've tried deleting the plist, I've tried creating new locatoins for the network. The diagnostics test at the apple store read that my Airport card was in

good standing.

 

What on earth do I do?
