Who can help me;

I recently left my iPad on the plane after landing.

- Yes, it has a pincode to enter (so at least there is some safety for my data).

I was now wondering, what happens to the Ipad - in the where my ipad in the cloud. Because at this stage I can still see it in my cloud, but it's showing 'offline' as it is a wifi model only.

Now my question;

     - If somebody took it with the intention of using it himself; what will happen?

          - if they misenter the code several times, ipad gets 'wiped' - but remains linked to my cloud and where's my ...

          - if it is wiped, and they are somehow able to reset it and then goes online; will it remain linked to my cloud ??

         - I did not activate the 'erase my ipad' option in the cloud/where's... - as it states then that I will loose the ability to track it myself...

So am I so misled in believing that as long as it shows in my cloud/where's my... app - that this would mean the ipad maybe still either not found or not reset - or has not yet made a connection to the internet...

Anybody that has similar experience, I would much appreciate your feedback
