Hi all,

I've been considering an upgrade to the memory of my MacBook, which is a late 2008 model:

Hardware Overview:

  Model Name:          MacBook

  Model Identifier:          MacBook5,1

Processor Name:          Intel Core 2 Duo

  Processor Speed:          2 GHz

  Number Of Processors:          1

  Total Number Of Cores:          2

  L2 Cache:          3 MB

  Memory:          4 GB

  Bus Speed:          1.07 GHz

  Boot ROM Version:          MB51.007D.B03

  SMC Version (system):          1.32f8

  Serial Number (system):          W884322U1B0

  Hardware UUID:          1D84FA06-5476-59BE-B6F9-6E5D6688960E

  Sudden Motion Sensor:

  State:          Enabled

Just wondering if it's even possible for me to increase it up to 8GB, and if so, what type of RAM would it require / would you recommend? I was trying to look on Crucial's website, however, it kept telling me to use only a 2GB RAM upgrade...which obviously won't help me!

Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

Thank you in advance,

MacBook (13-inch Aluminum Late 2008), Mac OS X (10.6.8)
