Jan 31, 2013 11:27 AM in response to HeliYeahby randers4,★HelpfulDid you check to see if an @icloud.com email address was already added to your iCloud ID? To check, you can go to https://appleid.apple.com, click on Manage your Apple ID, sign into your iCloud ID, click on Name, ID and Email Addresses on the left, then check the alternate email addresses listed to the right.
If the @icloud address is listed as an alternate address you can use it now; it will receive email in your existing iCloud inbox. This article explains how to make it your default on your phone: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5441.
If it isn't listed, you would have to create a new account in order to get this, then migrate your iCloud data to the new account. If you want to do this, reply back and I'll give you the steps.

Jan 31, 2013 12:23 PM in response to randers4by HeliYeah,It isn't listed. It seems to me that it I did see it somewhere as my ......@hotmail.com@icloud.com or something to that effect. I would like to claim an icloud email address anyway how do I do that and migrate my icould account to the new ID?
If I create a new icloud email that won't effect my iTunes apple ID correct?

Jan 31, 2013 12:40 PM in response to HeliYeahby randers4,It won't effect your iTunes ID but you will need a new Apple ID to set up the new account. (You can leave your current ID in Settings>iTunes & App Stores.)
To change accounts go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, when prompted choose Keep on My iPhone. The set up a new account with a new ID, turn on your iCloud data syncing and when prompted choose Merge to upload your data to the new account. When you turn Mail to On you will be prompted to choose an @icloud email address.
