    Hello to everyone!

The issue, as I've been exprierencing on my Macbook Air (11", 2011 model) has to do with the driver for the Broadcom 801.22n network adapter (known as Airport Extreme adapter on the Mac OS side). My computer will freeze endlessly, without fail unless I go into the control panel and disable the wireless driver. Then, I literally have no problem. I can enable the dynamic tick (which is actually a GOOD feature of Windows 8).

Until Apple updates the drivers for Windows 8 or Broadcom can come up with a solution, Macbook Air users will not be able to connect to Wi-Fi wil running Boot Camp.

I nearly had the same problem and I found the drivers on the net, then I installed them manually with the devices manager.

I can't find those drivers anymore but I found this if this can help you : http://www.aheil.de/2012/10/28/boot-camp-windows-8-me-haz-drivers/ . I don't know if you already tried it.

Personally, I didn't get to download this, because I have an error at nearly 30% of the download but I hope you will. Just try it.

I've been using Win 8 on my 2010 Macbook (the white plastic one) flawlessly for a while now, but I was having similar freezing issues.  As soon as the bootcamp driver/taskbar/program started up, the machine would either freeze or bluescreen.  The fix was simple:

Open the device manager and disable the Generic PnP Monitor driver.

Been working perfectly, including games, for well over a month without problems.  You might have to remove the bootcamp driver, then disable the monitor, then reinstall bootcamp, but then you're good to go.  The problem in my case was brightness controls.  Something about how the bootcamp software controlled brightness was conflicting with how the pnp monitor was doing it, I think.

Delays happens when a Hard Drive gets shoked or hit on the inside by phisical hits and unstable voltages from the psu

    Hi Atomez,

I tried the old driver you linked to but it crashed my wireless networks tray. I'm on Windows 8.1 with Boot Camp 5.1.5621 on an Apple MacBook Pro "Core i7" 2.8 15" Mid-2010. Only getting a fraction of the speed I used to get on Windows 7 with an older Boot Camp.

    Any idea?

Just uninstalled the driver Atomez linked to, which reverted me back to the original Broadcom driver by Microsoft, and now speeds seem to have returned to normal.

Maybe uninstalling Atomez' driver helped remove some conflicting Broadcom files or something. Anyway, I hope someone finds this useful.
