It is possible to make an exact copy of a table, which add continuously all new dates in the duplicated table.

Normaly the duplicated table save all dates at the moment of the duplication (copy) and rest in this state.

    Alert,

I think you want to make a second table that exactly follows the original table. You can do that using a few different ways, but this would be my choice:

Let us say that the original table is named Original. In the second table, write:

    =INDEX(Original, ROW(), COLUMN())

Copy that expression and Paste it to every cell in the second table. After that, the second table will follow the original table as you make changes in the original.

    Jerry,

thank you, but your answer unfortunately not
    resolved my problem.

INDEX can return a value, but not a term ( text), so I don't have a exact copy of the Original.

Do you have an other way? Thank you!

(in the german version of Numbers 09 exists COLUMN (engl), but don't exists ROW)

    Alert,

Perhaps I should have posted my test case to shorten this discussion.

This example uses the expression I posted above, and you can see that it transfers Dates (your request), Text, Currency and Duration. Note that the "Duplicate" table will need to be Explicitly Formatted manually. This can be seen in the Currency and Duration columns.

I'm not good at German language, but I wonder if you have Reihe or Linie where I have Row.

    Alert,

    I located the translation:

ROW in the English version is ZEILE in the German version.

A handy Function Name crossreference can be found at:
