I am running Snow Leopard on a Mac Pro.  Trying to create an OCZ SSD bootable toolbox for Mac, with downloaded OCZ instructions and appropriate dmg.  file.. Using a brand new 8Gb USB drive I carefully follow instructions (using Disk Utility) until I get to, (quote):

"Click 'restore' and enter your admin name and password when prompted. Apple again prompts to the next step to 'scan' the image (dmg file), else the utility will not allow you to continue.."

The problem is that after I click ‘restore’ and enter admin name and password,  I get the following error message each time I try..

Could not find any scan information. The source

image needs to be imagescanned before it can be

I click OK on the error message, and the process just comes to an end, without anything being written to the USB drive. There is no system request to ‘scan’ the image, just the error message.  In fact I have no idea what imagescanning means with reference a dmg. file?

Any help gratefully received....thanks...BC
