I just got a new iphone 5 yesterday. It was installed with 6.0.1 so I upgraded to 6.1.
I switched it off and put it on charge from power plus, to give it a full charge. Then in the middle of the night it turned on. This disturbed our sleep.
The normal default behaviour of an iPhone is that, if off and plugged in, it starts up.
If you want it to stay off while charging, you need to plug it in while still on, then turn it off. If you turn it off after it has been plugged in, it will then stay off.
To repeat - Plug it in while turned on then switch off! - correct?
This will mean when it is switched off this way it will not switch on and disturb our sleep - correct?
How can your iphone disturb your sleep lol, and btw u have the sleep switch or even the "do not disturb" option.
It kept beeping for some reason.
