Does anything there "ring any bells" on anything you might have been doing recently? Of course I don't think any of that would have any relationship with the apple Mail app.2010 3.33GHz 6-core Mac Pro / 5870 / 24GB / 27" ACD /, Mac OS X (10.6.5)

I get the EWS Assertion error every once in a while and Mail stops synching with Exchange. Here's what seems to fix it for me:
- Quit Mail
- Delete ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail/Data/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.pli st
- Restart Mail

I had the this happen to me again and this time the fix was different. Turns out my Calendar and Contacts app didn't update it's password with my Mail account. I opened the other Appliacations and put my password in and Mail was fine again.
