I am using Mail and I have tried multiple accounts like Yahoo, Gmail, and AOL and it won't let me send emails to my Doctor who has a verizon.net email. This is very problematic because she has many patients and calls and visits are hard to get. My mother gets the same thing sometimes on her iPad but she usually is able to get the message through. I am wondering if this is a problem with my Computer and Mail or is this an internet issue.

*Keep In mind we have a ActionTec Router and it has caused problems in the past and I am wondering if this is a NAT issue which they are famous for. We should be getting it replaced soon and I hope this resolves the issue but I am wondering if there is something else I should be trying to fix.

What is the exact error message you are getting?

This is the easiest one to find. There were many others but I think I accidentally deleted them. After this message is a bunch of jibbersh that I can't understand and I would post it but it contains very personal information.

    *** ATTENTION ***

Your e-mail is being returned to you because there was a problem with its

delivery. The reason your mail is being returned to you is listed in the

section labeled: "----- The delivery status notification errors -----".

The line beginning with "Diagnostic-Code:" describes the specific reason

your e-mail could not be delivered.  The following lines contains the

RFC822 header of the original email message.

Please direct further questions regarding this message to your e-mail

That message isn't too informative, unfortunately. What was shown on the line beginning with "Diagnostic-Code"?

Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 550 5.1.1 unknown or illegal alias is the only part that I can see that mentions it.

That generally means that the user does not exist. You may be sending to the wrong address, or the address may have changed.

What if I know for a fact the address is accurate because my Dad can send whatever he wants to this email address and I cant

Well, in that case, there are a couple possibilities. One is that there's something wrong with your e-mail account.

The other, however, is that you have been blocked from sending e-mail messages to your doctor. If you've been sending a lot of messages to her as a substitute for making an appointment or scheduling a phone consultation (something that I can tell you most doctors would not welcome), then it may be that an e-mail filter has been set up and is bouncing your messages back.
