Hey there. I'm in the process of starting up a podcast network with the audio files hosted on our homepage built through Squarespace.

Not really wanting to plug it but...

We have been loading three podcasts regularly now. Just tried to start uploading two more and iTunes can't download episodes for it.  One of the RSS feeds is -

The RSS feed seems fine but it won't load. Tried uploading it with two different e-mail accounts. Error message pops up on both.

This seems like a popular topic and I'm sorry if I'm spamming something that has been answered over and over but I didn't think I found the right answer in the previous threads.

Thank you for your patience and help.

Your feed has three episodes: none of them has the 'enclosure' tag, containing the URL of the episode's media file, which is necessary for iTunes: indeed there is no reference to a media file at all.

Each episode has a link leading to a Squarespace page with an embedded media player. This won't work in iTunes: you have to provide a direct link to the actual media file - the test is that if you enter the URL in Safari it plays in an otherwise blank window in Safari. The URL must include the extension, e.g. ,mp3.

This page on podcasting includes a sample basic feed so that you can see what one should look like.
