MacOS X 10.6 Snow Leopard has no access to iCloud. It just barely gets you to the Mac App Store.
iCloud requires 10.7 minimum.Mac Pro (Early 2009), Mac OS X (10.6.8), & Server, PPC, & AppleTalk Printers

CAn icloud on iphone 5 syn with snow leopard on mac pro?
There are some hacks to using iCloud with Snow Leopard. One of the keys is you must use iCloud as your primary source for Contacts and Calendars. That is, when you want to make additions or changes to either your calendar or contacts you really MUST do it from the web interface to iCloud. Otherwise you may wind up with duplicates.
