I also use open DNS here, and I agree that it is a great service. I think that you need to add the DNS data to the second AEBS. The Open dns site does have their own forums, so you can double check with them, just to make sure.
At my location, I have Open dns addresses installed on both of my computers but not on my wireless router, since I wanted guests to my home who bring their wifi enabled devices not to be encumbered by my security settings.

I've already added the DNS settings to the second AEBS. I realized last night that that might be the issue. I learn that I migh need to flush the DNS cache via terminal, so I did that today, but still to no avail. So far I'm not getting much help on the OpenDNS forums. That's why I was hoping someone more familiar with airport networks might know what I'm doing wrong.

I'm not seeing why you're bypassing the Open dns servers, at least the reason is not obvious to me. If worse comes to worse, you can always switch over the two computers individually to Open dns.
