I should have been clearer in my previous request for help.

How come we cannot watch the same tv shows we've been watching on our Mac - i.e., Mentalist, Bones - on the new iPad without having to resort to hulu or netflix? Bought the iPad so my wife wouldn't have to wait to get on the Mac to watch her favorite shows. Thanks in advance.

iMac (20-inch Early 2009), Mac OS X (10.7.2)

How are you watching them on the Mac without Hulu or Netflix? On a web page? Downloaded torrent files played with VLC? With an EyeTV hardware device? In iTunes?

P.S. You might also give us a little information about your iPad, for example, which version of iOS you're running since 6.1 just came out.

When you ask a question like "why can't watch the same TV shows we've been watching in our Mac" we have no idea whatsoever what this in reference to on the Mac. You really need to provide some details.

You are still not being clear enough. How were you watching the shows on the Mac? Are these purchased TV shows in iTunes? If so, did you sync them to the iPad?

Are you watching TV shows on network websites that use Flash for the videos? Flash isn't supported on the iPad if thats what you were doing.
