hi all, If i want to store a document on icloud to be universally accessible do i need to purchase a product or is it part of the base 25gb storage?

    That depends on what you mean by "universally accessible".  If you mean that you can access it on any of your devices, then you are fine with just the 5GB free storage space.  If you mean that you can give anyone access to the document, then I'm not sure if that's possible even with the purchase of additional storage.  I seem to recall that the paid service on iCloud really only buys you more storage space, and not additional "features".

    Thanks GeekBoy, I guess my question is more rudimentary. My wife needs to borrow my MacBook. How do I upload some files on my iCloud account while she is away so I can access them elsewhere ehile she is away? How do I access my 5Gb for this?

    From another Mac which is signed into the same iCloud account and on which the relevant programs - e.g. Pages or Numbers - are installed.

    Thanks Roger. It wasn't clear to me that installing those programs was essential to facilitated this function. Cheers
