Ok I got the new iMac 27in with 3TB drive.  Cannot use bootcamp, limitation, what ever.  So I googling the whole night on a way to find a simple and easy solution, don't want to tweak 3TB, or EFI boot

So, my guess is to boot a MacOS X Mountain Lion on an external USB drive.  Do a bootcamp and install windows 7 on a 2nd partition on the USB drive.

But.. but but but... I already have a ISO copy of a MacOS Mountain Lion but when I double click on it and start the install, I got a window saying this version of Mac OS is not compatible with my hard ??!.

I need your help.

How can I install Mac OS X Mountain Lion on an external USB drive without paying 20$ on App Store to get a copy of Lion that I already have with my iMac ?!

Thanks for your help

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)
