Any all day events on 1st April - change to a timed event. It's an issue related to coding for daylight saving.

Problem is deff fixed in iOS 6.1! But only if you can upgrade, otherwise delete all day events or UK calendar!

This discussion has been going for months, I also can confirm that it is fexed (iPad3), BUT IT WOULD OF BEEN NICE IF IT WAS NOTED ON THE RELEASE NOTES:::: of course Apple would not want to confirm this bug----------> a poor show from what seems toi be decling service across the brand.

I have the same problem on my original ipad. Deleteing events on April 1 has sorted it out. Thanks so much

Greetings from Girona, Catalonia, Spain!,
Same issue in my original Ipad with IOS 5.1.1
I can't update to IOS 6.1.x. because Apple's policies.
I'm very disappointed!
Thanks for your understanding!,

It is annoying but just delete any all day events on first April and it goes back to working (this includes holiday notifications)

I found the only thing that worked - and I tried deleting things from March 31st etc - was to untick uk holidays on both the ipad and the ical on my mac. Then it stopped crashing. Nothing else worked.

Only had this problem after subscribing to iCal UK Holidays on my iPad 1. Subcribing to iCal US Holidays and disabling UK Holidays via Settings.. Mail etc allowed US holidays to display. At leasta partwork around.

I had the same problem and took off the alert from all April items crossing back to March 2013. I also removed any all day items from 1st April. Problem was solved. Good luck.
