1. Since the new mac mini is only 2.7 pounds/1.22 kg, I'm wondering if it is practical to carry it along with cables to replace a laptop. (Even the 13'3 macbook air is heavier) The places that I go to everyday are like the library, the office, etc. There is always some monitor and keyboard that is available for connection. Provided that I have all the required cables, is it possible and practical to do it? Will any hardware inside the mini be damaged if I carry it in my bag like a laptop.

2. I play the world of warcraft, starcraft 2, and will be playing the diablo 3. Is the lower configuration enough? Or should I buy the better mini instead?
