Well, when I connected my iTouch to my iMac, the computer does recognize it and iTunes opens. When I click on Sync it snyc's very fast and it doesn't seems to be coping from my computer or from my computer to my iTouch. The main issue is my iCal (calender). If I type something in iCal or type something in my iTouch, neither one is transfering or coping the information. I hope I explained irt clearly.

Go to the various pane for the iPod in iTunes and make sure that yo have the appropriate boxes checked.
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reboot the computer.

I tried what you suggested and still no transfering of information between iCal. That seems to be the only program where the problem exists. When I connect the iTouch to my computer, iTunes open and iPhoto opens, so it is connecting to my computer. I'm sure I checked all the boxes that needs to be checked.
