Q: There is no "Shared" button in Music > More...

I cannot get home sharing between my iPhone and laptop.

When I go to "Music" > "More" all there is is "Compilations" "Composers" "Genres." Where did Shared go?

iPhone 5, iOS 6.1

Tried turning it off and then back on one more time in iTunes and that did the trick. Thanks for your prompt responses and effort though sberman.

Under Settings > Music, there is a "Home Sharing" section at the bottom that asks for an Apple ID and password.

I'm sorry I should have mentioned I already logged into Home Sharing with my Apple ID in settings.

Are you using the identical Apple ID and password on your iPhone as you are on the device you're trying to share?
Are both the iPhone and the device on the same WiFi network?

Yes to both unfortunately.

I'm pretty sure I've done the set-up correctly on both ends.

Glad you got it working!

I have to admit that occasionally I return home with my iPhone and forget to turn WiFi on and am then surprised when I can't share.
