You do not need to have the mini configured to handle 16GB of RAM......just order the model you need and add the RAM when you get the mini........I set mine up for 12 GB when it arrived....from the stock 4 GB......one benefit of the larger amount of RAM is the HD 4000 graphics will be able to use 768 MB of the system RAM instead of 512 MB that would be available with only the stock 4 GB of RAM that the mini has
....order the RAM from ....OWC.....NewEggg.....Crucial......one of these......much cheaper.....
Thanks a lot! I appreciate the advice!
I have another issue maybe you could help me with. I currently have a macbook running OSX Snow Leopard 10.6.8. The problem that I am having is that my Apple applications will not update without the system telling me that an error has occured. Plus some of my third party software like Adobe Acrobat Reader, and others will not update. I seached this site and there is a patch for Snow Leopard to fix this problem. The thing is that OSX will not install this either. Its really beginning to frustrate me.
I would appreciate the help.
