Feb 3, 2013 9:41 AM in response to wjostenby auee23,Thanks but I'm looking to restrict access to a SET of applications. Access to one will work with 1 yr or less but not for older kids.

Jan 24, 2016 3:19 AM in response to auee23by briansanmateo,I also find Restrictions wanting. Kids love iPads and they are a fantastic way for Apple to develop future customers. But as a parent I am astounded that the restrictions feature on iOS is so poor. One should be able to give an iPad to toddlers without worrying about them deleting apps or trashing files. However, "Restrictions" is deliberately set up to make it difficult to hand off to youngsters. Not only is there no means of saving restriction profiles for your kids, but it does not even save the last restriction settinsg! Someone appears to have worked overtime figuring how to make "Restrictions" useless in an effort to force parents to buy multiple iPads or more likely buy a Samsung competitor tablet for the kids. Seems insane and short sited to me.
