All,

 

I've wasted the better part of my day dealing with the fact that my iPhone and my wife's iPhone will NOT connect to my Airport Extreme. I get the infamous "Unable to connect to wireless name"

 

To date I've searched the forums and tried everything mentioned with no luck. Those actions being:

 

  • Reset the Airport to factory settings
  • Reset network settings on the phone
  • Tried connecting via WPA and WPA2
  • Tried with no password set

 

What makes it more interesting is the fact that my Netbook and iPad connect to the Airport without issues and then my phone connects to my Verizon MiFi without issues. My conculsion is that it's the connection between the iPhone and the Airport Extreme only since all other scenarios work.

 

Any thought? Can I roll back the firmware, if so how do I do that?
