I can place a call with my phone, I can hear them just fine but they can't hear me, how can I fix this

    It sounds like there's a problem with your microphone. First, make sure that you don't have a headset or anything plugged in to the audio jack.

    Next, make sure you have nothing obstructing your microphone, and that the microphone is near your mouth. If you've done all of this and it still fails to work, then you may have either gotten a bad microphone, or it could be waterdamaged.

    I have checked the mic on a video and it works just fine. Only when I make a call does it not work,any suggestions on how to fix this?

    Hmmm. It may be a network issue where the network is 'dropping' all the information you are sending them whilst you are making a call, in which case, you should check in with your network provider.

    I just had this phone activated, my other phone broke, could it be a problem if I hadn't plugged it into the apple web sight to sync?

    Dunno. It could be that you're having issues since your other phone may not have been fully decomissioned or something. (I've had experiences where directly after activating a phone, both my old and new ones are a little wonky).
