Hi everyone,

Since 2 weeks ago my macbook has been acting occasionally strange. It's battery related, I guess.

Sometimes, when I plug the power adapter cord when the battery is below 95%, the light won't turn on and the macbook won't charge. It simply remains like that, without spending any battery. I then have to unplug and plug again so it starts charging.

Another strange thing is that when I leave it in sleep overnight, plugged to the power adapter, the next morning, when I press a key to make it wake, it will sometimes make the same sound (music) as if the macbook was turned off and is now turning on. Then I will see several bars filling up and have to wait quite a bit to enter my password. I believe this is the same behaviour as if the macbook had had its battery drained completely and is now waking from sleep after being recharged (battery is at that moment completely charged).

Do you think I should take to repair?

Thanks

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion
