Hi there,

I found some problem while Im using Window 8 on Mac. I have shrink volume (separate size in window partition). And all my drive turn to Dynamic Drive.

Unluckily, I cannot boot to my original MacOSX. How to solve it?

Kind Regards.

Sopheak.

Have you tried booting into Mountain Lion's Recovery Partition by holding down Command-R prior to the startup chime, going to the last option, and doing a Repair Disk on the Macintosh HD volume that won't boot?

Hold the option key down while booting the machine, it will give you startup manager and then you can select OS X to boot from.

    Thanks for your kind responding.

I have lost Macintosh partition from Startup. May it damange my (osx) partition? How about my data?

And I won't work by Holding Key like Command-S, and other. I have tried but i won't work.

Sounds like you messed up your GUID parittion table which tells the hardware what are your parittions on the drive.

No partitons means no OS X boot volume..

Your going to have to install Data Rescue on a external OS X boot drive to attempt to recover data off the internal hard drive (if you have one), hopefully it wasn't Filevaulted neither.

Create a data recovery/undelete external boot drive

Another option is to remove the hard drive from the machine (if it's easy) and use a SATA to USB adpater with Data Rescue running on another Mac to recover files.

If you can't follow this, then have a local professioanl do it for you before you delete your data.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your fast responding.

That means I cannot undo my action on MacOS X partition by using Window 8? However, I have some solution from ya. I will try.
