use the iphone phone numbers for facetime. it's designed so that you can be on a facetime call on one device and pick it up on another.

Thank you iinami for the quick reply, you'll have to excuse me, I'm new to iPhone and FaceTime I call using the iPhone number but it always fails saying person is not available for FaceTime? Also tried with email but same thing happens?
Thanks again for the help

Finally after about two days I have the complete answer, when setting up face time the system automatically takes your apple ID email as one of your contact methods! If you manage multiple devices with only one Apple ID (one email) do the following: for the iPhones deselect all methods of contact except the phone number (do not leave email ticked), on iPad deselect all less the email address.
I can now FaceTime between all three!

i'm glad you got it working, that's what i was trying to say...use the phone numbers for the phone's facetime.
