My AppleCare will expire tomorrow. I have purchased the extension today but I don't have the registration code for the extension yet. What to do?

    How did you purchase it?

The product itself is not much more than the code and instructions. If you don't have the code, it sounds like you don't yet have the product.

You will have to contact Apple to find out the policy on an sort of "grace period" between purchase date and activation date.

I'm banking on the grace period - if they could give me that.

    Thanks :-)

I guess if you can prove that you have purchased the apple care protection plan by handing in an invoice or receipt, there will be no problem activating it with the help of the hotline.

Curious to know I apple honored your apple care extension. My iPod ac expired in last jan and I didn't receive any  notification of expiration. Thx.

hello. yes, AppleCare protection plan was extended, but please note that I purchased the extension right on the day of it's 'expiration'. you may have to contact an AppleCare specialist just to be sure.

this was helpful however when i called apple about it I was told they don't do apple care extensions. I can pay $20 for a one issue fee if I wanted help.

Don't count on it. Mine expired on Jan 20 and I was told I had to pay the $19.99 fee to get any help on apple care phone support.
