I have noticed a problem with streamed video hanging up on my imac, while the audio is not interrupted at all. My internet download speed is good, just tested at 45 MB while I was experiencing the problem. Seems I have noticed it watching website videos, for example a tutorial video on CNet.

OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2), Intel Core 2 Duo, 2.66 GHz

    Hi Cumby,

Open Console in Utilities & see if there are any clues or repeating messages when this happens.

See if the Disk is issuing any S.M.A.R.T errors in Disk Utility...

Open Activity Monitor in Applications>Utilities, select All Processes & sort on CPU%, any indications there?

How much RAM & free Disk space do you have also, click on the Memory & Disk Usage Tabs.

Open Console in Utilities & see if there are any clues or repeating messages when this happens.

In the Memory tab of Activity Monitor, are there a lot of Pageouts?

What browser are you using? I've had issues with Firefox recently in youtube.

There are some repeating messages in the console referring to sandboxd and lsboxd?

Can you copy the Text & paste it in a Reply?

Sorry, screenshots aren't very helpful in this situation, can you not drag across text lines & CMD+c to copy them?

Selecting stuff in the console doesn't seem to work anymore (at least, as of 10.7.5) for me; it tries to drag the selected line as if you were trying to drag a line of selected text in Safari.

Hmmmm, I'll have to try it in 10.7.5 I guess, thanks.

Just tried some more stuff; if you click one line then do command + a and then copy all of them, then you can paste all into, say, a text file or whatever you choose.
