You probably cannot fix the MBP. But take out the HDD and put it into an enclosure and attach it to another Mac and if that is still working. If your lucky, you may be able to get your data.
Remove the hard drive from the machine, buy an external disk enlcosure (such as this one from OWC), put the disk in the enclosure and plug it into another Mac. You'll likely be able to get your files back.
If you need instructions on removing the HDD from your MBP, OWC has installation videos for HDDs. Watch one of them since it requires removing a HDD. It is not complicated and do mote the tools that will be required, a #00 Plillips and a #6 Torx drivers. Clintofrombirmingham has pointed you in regards to an enclosure. Different options may be found on Newegg and Amazon among many others.
