Bought the 13" Macbook Air early last year with basic specs.  Now with some extra cash available, I wanted to upgrade the the RAM to 8G and increase the memory to 512GB.  Was informed by the staffs at Apple shop that it cannot be done because this service of upgrading is only available for "on-line"/internet purchase(s) of the Macbook Air and not for "walk-in" customers.  Why discriminate?
