After installing Mountain Lion I get this command as my Lacie I use for my time machine tries to mount.(

There was a problem connecting to the server --URLs with the type"file" are not supported
). It does not let it mount so there is no disc to click on to try to do anything with. Pretty weird that Apple creates a service like time machine and then it does not work with their new operating system. Am I going ot lose all my old backups when this gets resolved-- I never use to worry about backups with my Macs but in the last 2 years I have lost 4 harddrives on Imacs at school- three on 2 Imacs bought at the same time and weird enough the hard drive recall was for an Imac model we never had any trouble with ever.

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)
