    hi,

Today I came by the same problem. I was able to email it as a pdf from my iphone with the keynote app installed. If you have this app on you iphone or iPad this could be a good workaround.

I was able to download a keynote presentation from iCloud.com in pdf, but it was created on the iPhone, maybe that could have something to do with it.

Is the file you want to download a Keynote or a PDF file?

In both posts we're talking about a keynote file, aren't we?

two file types are stated; the OP states there is a Keynote presentation but cant down load a PDF, where did this PDF come from?

It's about a keynote file. On iCloud.com you can download it as keynote, PDF or PowerPoint. However, the PDF and PowerPoint options are grayed out when I create a keynote on Mac and save it on iCloud.

Thats interesting, I dont use iCloud so dont know its capability.

Only additional  suggestion isfor future projects to export a PDF from Keynote and sendKeynote and PDF files to iCloud.

yeah -- I have same issue .... Pages too.  Other sites forums seem to suggest that if you create something on a Mac in iWork, store in iCloud, and open in iOS at some point THEN, and only then will the PDF or MS format options be "un grayed."  Frustrating that the seemingly more powerful Mac versions can't do that.  Especially as sometimes I try to access icloud on a windows machine and want either the PDF or Word/Excel/PPT options....

I dont use iCloud, as you suggest it appears to be geared to mobile devices not Mac.

My prefered option is to use a file transfer service; Dropbox /Skydrive /YouSendIt which is free and always works for any file type.
