Dear all,

I just received a notification with this update. It's supposed to solve an uncommon problem that provoked the battery to fail after 1000 cycles. Well, this happened to me about two months ago. The battery had 1300 cycles and suddenly, the next day, it didn't work at all but connected to the electricity network.

I had to change the battery (and pay for it) and the technician was very surprised because it should be still working with only 1400 cycles. So this is the thing: is Apple going to compensate somehow those expenses? I've been trying to find how to talk with them but, as my MacBook is from mid 2012, I am suppossed to pay for the technical (phone) support. I don't find any of this fair. Some advise? What can I do?

Thanks in advance!
