At the moment, Boot Camp isn't compatible with Windows 8, so don't install it yet. Instead, install Windows 7 on Boot Camp.
Another option is to install Windows 8 on a virtual machine, using Parallels, VMware Fusion or VirtualBox

Thanks to both mende 1 and Chamar,
Seems I should have looked up this forum before I uninstalled "Parallel 7", but that's fate for you!
Luckily everything is backed up, so will do a restore, update to Parra 8 , and try from there.
I bet that as soon as I get this sorted APPLE will come out with an updated WIN 8 compatable Bootcamp.
Fate and Nature will always retain the upper hand!
Thanks again boys.

Windows 8 works fine on my Mid 2012 MBP with Win7's drivers. However I suggest you wait for some time as OS X 10.8.3 supports Windows 8 and currently 11 betas have been released already. So, the public release should be imminent if you ask meMacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2012), Other OS, Windows 8

Further to my now resolved predicament.
I installed Parralells 8 , then added MS WIN 8 pro 64 bit as a virtual machine.
It works like a charm with 8 Gb of memory, and have had no problems as yet.
