I have an iMac 20" (Model A1224, iMac 7,1).  Intel Core 2 Duo 2GHz running 10.5.8 OSX.

I removed the stock 1GB and replaced it with 2X2GB DDR2 667mhz PC2-5300 SO-DIMMS (G.Skill).

I booted up.  Both memory slots show OK, but one only shows 1GB instead of 2GB.  Overall, the system only recognizes 3GB.  What gives?  The Apple Support page for this model says that it supports 4GB (some other web sites even say it supports 6GB).

Thanks.
